Residents of Udhana and Limbayat zones will experience a disruption in their water supply on 11th February due to urgent repair work on a leakage in the pipeline supplying water from Katargam Water Works to Udhana A Water Distribution System.
As part of the ongoing maintenance efforts, the Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) has announced that water supply in these areas will either remain suspended or come with low pressure during the repair period.
An SMC official stated, “We are committed to completing the work at the earliest and will ensure the water supply is restored as quickly as possible. We request citizens to plan accordingly.”
Advisory for Residents
Authorities have urged residents in the affected zones to take necessary precautions, including:
- Storing an adequate amount of water in advance.
- Using water judiciously during the disruption period.
- Avoiding wastage to ensure sufficient availability for essential needs.
The SMC has assured that its teams will work efficiently to restore normal water supply at the earliest. Residents are advised to stay updated with official announcements for further developments.
