In an innovative initiative, the Surat Police has decided to spread traffic awareness through a creative approach involving singing, dancing, and acting. This unique strategy aims to educate citizens about the importance of following traffic rules while making the process engaging and memorable.

When the traffic signals are closed, Starting January 26 a special team of 15 police officers will hit the streets with performances including singing, acting, and delivering dialogues to educate the public on the importance of following traffic rules.
The campaign, which is set to feature police officers performing skits, delivering impactful dialogues, and singing catchy tunes, is designed to connect with people of all ages. By adopting a more interactive and entertaining method, the Surat Police hopes to leave a lasting impression on the public and encourage them to follow traffic regulations diligently.
One of the highlighted dialogues in the Hindi language includes:
‘Hamare Jawan, Surat ke har chorahe par tum par nazar banaye hue hey, Samje, traffic signal todne ki bhool naa karna……Warna hamare Jawan tumhari khubsurat si tasveer khinch lenge…’, ‘Jab tumhare gar par challan ayega, Tumhari khubshrut si tasveer dekh kar darr jaoge, hamne yeh bhul kaha ki….Samje…Surat traffic rules ka paalan kare…Jo karega traffic rules ka paalan, Usse nahi aayehga challan…’
This effort underscores the department’s commitment to ensuring road safety in Surat, a city bustling with rapid development and ever-growing traffic. Beyond traditional enforcement, the Surat Police is embracing creativity to make a difference in how citizens perceive and adhere to traffic rules.
