As per sources, PM Narendra Modi will arrive in Surat on March 7, where he is expected to participate in an event related to the Old Age Assistance Scheme. This program is scheduled to be held in the Limbayat area of Surat and is aimed at supporting senior citizens with financial and social welfare initiatives.

Following this, PM Modi is expected to stay overnight in Surat before heading to Navsari on March 8 for another public gathering. The details of the event in Navsari are yet to be officially confirmed.

Participation in Semiconductor Conference in Ahmedabad

During his Gujarat visit, PM Modi may also attend a session at the Semicon India Conference. The conference is a significant event in India’s semiconductor industry, focusing on advancing technology and boosting local manufacturing capabilities. His presence at the event may highlight India’s commitment to self-reliance in semiconductor production.

Reports suggest that PM Modi may use this visit to make a key announcement regarding Project Lion, a conservation initiative aimed at protecting Asiatic lions in Gujarat. Additionally, the Drone Didi Initiative, which aims to promote drone technology for various developmental purposes, may also witness a significant expansion.

While these plans are being discussed, final approvals from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) are still pending. More events and interactions could be added to the itinerary, depending on official confirmations.
