A fire broke out at Kataria Car Showroom near ISKCON Mall in Piplod at around 9 PM. Firefighters responded promptly to the fire call and managed to bring the flames under control after two hours of intense effort.
The fire originated from a short circuit in the electrical duct on the ground floor of the showroom. The flames quickly spread to the first floor after the wires ignited, causing significant damage to the newly showcased cars. Thankfully, no injuries or casualties were reported in the incident.
Following the call, nine fire tenders, firefighters and laborers rushed to the site. Although the fire was eventually controlled, dense smoke and darkness posed challenges during the operation. The cooling process continued late into the night to ensure complete safety.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the short circuit to prevent such incidents in the future.
