Today Union Minister C.R. Patil launched a more important project of water harvesting in Surat.
In the program organized at Udhnana Chhatrapati Shivaji Complex under Jal Shakti Abhiyan, he distributed water and Performed the bhoomi pujan of the recharge system project.
Many dignitaries including Surat MP Mukesh Dalal were present on this occasion. Under the Jal Shakti Abhiyan, this project will strengthen the water supply in Surat City and Important steps are being taken to ensure that we do not have to face a water crisis in the future.
Union Minister Patil stressed the need for water harvesting and such schemes in the country. He expressed the need to expand it elsewhere also.
